1. 인하융합연구원(INSTAR)에서는 4단계 BK21 사업의 원활한 수행 및 우수

   대학원생 유치를 위하여 지도교수의 추천 방식에 의한 INSTAR(INstitute for 

   Specialized Teaching and Research)장학금 제도를 시행합니다.

2. 이에 대학원에서는 2025학년도 1학기 신입학 지원자 INSTAR장학생 추천과 관련하

   여 아래와 같이 안내해 드립니다.

  가. 운영기간 : 4단계 BK21 총 사업기간 [2020.9.1. ~ 2027.8.31.](84개월)

  나. 선발인원 : 연간 190명 이내

  다. 장학금액 : 등록금 전액

  라. 지원기간 : 석사 4차, 박사 4차, 통합 4차 학기까지

  마. 공통지원자격

    (1) 석사, 통합 : 평점평균 3.70/4.50 이상 자 중 교수의 추천을 받은 자

    (2) 박사 : 대학원평점평균 3.50/4.50 이상인 자 중 교수의 추천을 받은 자

    (3) 석사, 박사, 통합 : 전일제(Full-Time) 지원자

  바. 선발기준 및 의무사항 : "INSTAR장학금 선발기준 및 의무사항" 참조

  사. 선발방법 : 지도교수의 추천을 받은 자 중 아래 우선순위 적용하여 선발

    ※ 지도교수의 추천이 장학생 최종합격을 의미하는 것이 아님을 유의

  아. 원칙적으로 지도교수 당 연간 1명으로 추천인원 제한(추천순위 별 예외적용 여부는

3. INSTAR 장학금 지원서 작성 안내

  가. 지원자는 본인에게 해당되는 추천자격에 모두 표시한 뒤 추천 교수는 지원자가 

     표시한 추천자격 중 적합한 최종 추천자격을 택일하여 표시하여 제출하도록 안내

  나. 학과에서 추천교수가 택일한 추천자격을 최종확인하여 INSTAR 장학금 추천명단을

      작성하여 대학원으로 회신(전자공문으로 회신, 회신 시 첨부 3의 양식 반드시 사용)

The INha STAr Research Institute (INSTAR) is pleased to announce the implementation of the INSTAR (INstitute for Specialized Teaching and Research) Scholarship Program. This initiative supports the successful execution of the 4th Phase BK21 Project and aims to attract outstanding graduate students through a recommendation-based selection process.

1. Purpose and Overview

The graduate school provides the following guidelines regarding the recommendation of INSTAR scholarship recipients for applicants to the 1st semester of the 2025 academic year:

a. Program Duration: Throughout the entire 4th Phase BK21 Project (September 1, 2020 – August 31, 2027, 84 months)
b. Number of Recipients: Up to 190 per year
c. Scholarship Amount: Full tuition coverage
d. Support Duration: Up to 4 semesters for master's, doctoral, and integrated programs
e. General Eligibility:

1. Master’s and Integrated Programs: GPA of 3.70/4.50 or higher, with a professor’s recommendation
2. Doctoral Program: GPA of 3.50/4.50 or higher, with a professor’s recommendation
3. All Programs: Full-time students only
   f. Selection Criteria and Obligations: Refer to the “INSTAR Scholarship Selection Criteria and Obligations” document
   g. Selection Process: Candidates recommended by their academic advisor will be selected based on the following priorities.

Note: A professor’s recommendation does not guarantee scholarship selection.

h. Recommendation Limits: Generally, one recommendation per professor annually (refer to “INSTAR Scholarship Selection Criteria and Obligations” for exceptions).

Submission Deadline: January 3, 2025 (Friday)
Applicants must submit the “INSTAR Scholarship Application Form” to the graduate school administration office.

4. Guidelines for Application Submission

1. Applicants must indicate all applicable eligibility criteria on their form.
2. The recommending professor will confirm and select the most appropriate qualification from the applicant’s indicated options.
3. The department will review the professor’s final selection and submit the completed recommendation list to the graduate school via official correspondence (using the designated format in Attachment 3).
